Social distancing axe throwing with safety masks

Urban Axes Safety Precautions

Our Safety Precautions

At Urban Axes, safety has always been our number one priority. While our coaches have always been diligent about your safety during the act of throwing axes, we are just as committed to your health and well-being in this unprecedented time. Here are some of the steps we’re taking to ensure a safe and fun experience:

  • Customers in our Baltimore Boston and Durham locations are required to wear face coverings except when actively eating and drinking.
  • Beginning January 3rd 2022, customers in Philadelphia will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test result from a test done within 24 hours of arriving to our facility.  As of January 17th, 2022 all customers will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and negative Covid tests results will no longer be accepted.
  • In all other locations, vaccinated customers are not required to wear masks, but may still choose to do so.
  • Un-vaccinated customers are required to wear wear masks in accord with CDC Guidelines

Checking For Symptoms

  • Employees will perform a symptom check before coming into the building
  • Customers are requested to stay home if they are experiencing symptoms

Minimizing Touch Points

  • Customers are asked to consolidate payments to minimize screen touches
  • Customers are asked to fill out waivers before arriving

Hand Sanitizer

  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building

  • Urban Axes will sanitize the axe throwing common spaces, arenas, and axes before your arrival and in between throwing sessions

 Unvaccinated individuals

  • We recommend unvaccinated individuals follow the CDC guidance to protect themselves and others.
