All participants must wear closed toe shoes.

As part of our membership in the International Axe Throwing Federation, all leagues are subject to an $8 Axescores fee.
Parking in the lot next to our building is first-come, first serve.
You MUST display a parking pass on your dashboard, or YOU WILL BE TOWED!
Ask staff at the front desk for a parking pass while checking in.

Season 2 of our 2025 leagues is kicking off soon! Use this opportunity to reserve your spot in the next season of leagues by signing up below! Our eight (8) week leagues will be running on Sundays starting at 1pm and 6pm, Tuesday nights starting at 7pm, and Wednesday nights starting at 7pm - all with practice one hour before.

All Sunday leagues will have a 7-week season (6 weeks of matches + Playoffs) to avoid playoffs conflicts with Easter Sunday. Playoffs will take place on Sunday, April 13th. All 28 matches will still be provided and will be redistributed over 6 weeks of regular season play.
For those that wish to play Premier Rules, Sunday Night Premier League and Tuesday Night Premier League offer the updated Premier ruleset which awards 5 pts for each touch Clutch and 7 pts for Premier Clutches. This change has created a better balance of challenge & fun, and current Premier League members can attest it's a huge improvement! Come try this new ruleset out for yourself!

We're also offering TWO five (5) week recreational leagues again this season. These leagues are staggered at the beginning and end of the league season so only two weeks overlap.

Ladyblades League is moving to Monday nights this season and will begin Monday, March 3rd at 7pm, with practice available at 6pm. We apologize for the change in weeknight, but Thursday nights are unavailable for now.
Though Ladyblades League and Big Axe League will overlap, any Ladyblades that wish to play in both may do so and we will help facilitate their participation in both leagues.
This league offers 20 matches over 4 weeks of regular season play followed by a Week 5 (3/31) double elimination playoff for the top 16 qualifiers! This league is a great opportunity to connect with other Ladyblades* in the Boston league community and introduce more women to axe throwing in a supportive environment.

* Ladyblades is an inclusive term and we welcome cis/trans women, genderqueer women and non-binary individuals who identify as a woman in a way that is significant to them.

Monday Big Axe League continues this season! This league begins Monday, March 24th at 7pm, with practice available at 6pm and features 4 weeks of regular season Big Axe matches followed by a Week 5 double elimination playoff for the top 16 qualifiers! How it works

Axe throwing is an individual sport played in a group setting. Therefore, forming teams is not necessary. If you had a team in mind, you, your friends and/or colleagues should each sign up individually to take part in the league on the same night of the week. You'll all get to throw together but also with and against other league members.

Over the first 7 weeks, you will play 4 matches each week against other league members to determine who will make the

playoffs in week 8. Each match consists of three rounds of 5 throws (so 15 axes total per match). During week 8, the top 16 competitors will compete in a double-elimination tournament to determine the league winner. League members have the opportunity to qualify for the International Axe Throwing Championship each year.

What else should I know

Urban Axes has IATF-compliant axes for sale as low as $25 each plus tax. You can use one of general pool of axes but isn't it much more fun to have your own axe? You're in an axe throwing league! We have sourced what we consider to be the best throwing axes available that are used across Canada where the sport originated.

If you want to bring your own axe, it must meet IATF specifications.
