OPEN THROWING
  • Maximum of 6 throwers per arena. If you have less than 6 people, you will share an arena with other throwers
  • You must book for all of the throwers in your group
  • Your event is 1 hour in duration, we recommend you arrive 10-15 min early for check-in so you maximize your throwing time
  • Our Axeperts™ will help first-timers learn how to throw safely and assist returning throwers to perfect their bullseye skills
PRIVATE GROUP EVENTS
  • You have a dedicated arena for your group
  • Your event is 2½ hours in duration
  • Our Axeperts™ will start with 1 on 1 coaching to get everyone throwing safety and comfortably
  • After training, you will play round-robin matches to hone your skills before our Axeperts lead you through a friendly tournament to crown an axe throwing champion!

Important Information

  • Urban Axes Houston is a LICENSED venue serving beer, wine and cider
  • Open Throw bookings will be charged a deposit equal to one (1) participant; Small (6 or 8-12 people) group bookings will be charged a deposit equal to two (2) participants; and large (13-24 people) group booking deposit will be equal to three (3) participants.
  • The balance is due the day of your event, and can be paid individually ($40 per participant) or all together.
  • We are a cashless facility and accept debit or credit cards ONLY.
  • Please confirm your headcount before booking a reservation.

Booking Sizes

  • Our tournaments are best played with 10 or more people. Friday and Saturday bookings have a minimum group size of 8 players, weekdays have a minimum group size of 6 players.
  • We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate groups that exceed the maximum number of participants in your reservation. If your group size changes, please give us a call and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
  • If you have less than the minimum participants for the group size that you reserve, you will still be charged the minimum for the group size you reserve.
  • If you have 5 people or fewer, we recommend coming for a Walk-In session. Walk-In hours and information is available here.
